Consul General  of Nepal to Dubai and the Northern Emirates of the United Arab Emirates, Hari Prasad Odari called on the Deputy Director of Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates  Mr. Rashid Abdulla Al-Qaseer on 11 June 2025 and presented his Letter of Commission.

During the meeting, the Consul General stated that the decision of the Government of Nepal to open its new Consulate General in Dubai was the manifestation of the growing magnitude of Nepal-UAE relations in different areas. He underlined the importance of further enriching these relations in the areas of employment, trade, tourism and investment, education, and other potential areas. The Consul General highlighted that Nepal offered attractive investment opportunities to UAE investors particularly in agriculture and hydropower sectors. 

The Deputy Director of Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE congratulated and welcomed the new Consul General and stated that his office would extend all possible support to the Consulate General in its functioning. He also highlighted that there was ample scope of promoting trade and economic engagements between the two countries.   

Both sides expressed firm commitment to working together in the interest of Nepal-UAE bond of friendship.
