Procedures for obtaining a tourist visa for Nepal

1. Kindly visit Link https://nepaliport.immigration.gov.np/ to select the appropriate service type.

2. If you are eligible for Visa On-Arrival and wish to proceed with this option, please select “Visa On-Arrival”. After completing the form, you will receive a receipt. Please print this receipt and present it to the immigration officer at your point of entry into Nepal. The visa fee can be paid directly at the entry point (e.g., Tribhuvan International Airport).

3. If you prefer to obtain a Tourist Visa from the Consulate, please apply through Link https://nepaliport-new.immigration.gov.np/online-visa-missionManage/application

   i. Please bring the printed copy of the visa application form generated online after submission.

   ii. Your Passport and its photocopy (Please note that the validity of your passport should not be less than six months, and there should be at least one blank page to stamp visa in your passport)

  iii. A copy of your UAE resident visa,

  iv. NOC Letter (No Objection Letter) from your sponsor/Company (if you are employed in the UAE). The letter either can be addressed to the Consulate or simply written as “To Whom It May Concern” type that mentions inter alia their No Objection to the employee’s visit, the employee’s name and nationality, job title and salary. The letter should be stamped and signed by the company’s authorized person. Passport copy with UAE Visa page copy of the sponsor is required in case of personal sponsorship.

   v. Any other document that you think supports your application.

   vi. Visa fee (to be paid in cash).

1. Please be advised to come to the Consulate General in person to apply for a visa. Also note that a person himself/herself an applicant can represent Group travellers or families and apply on their/his/her behalf but cannot sign on their/his/her behalf in the applications.
2. Visas applications can be submitted between 9:30 am to 1.30 pm (from Monday to Friday) and can be collected between 2:30 to 4 pm.
3. The nationals of the following countries do not get on arrival visa at the international airport in Nepal. So, they are required to apply through our Consulate General for their tourist visa to Nepal with the following additional documents.

10. Palestine
11. Afghanistan
12. Syria
13. Refugees with travel documents

Additional documents:
1. Duly filled in visa application form
2. Passport copy
4. No objection certificate from your employer
5. Copy of valid Emirate ID
6. Police character certificate
7. The details of programme in Nepal, if any, in which you are going to attend.
